Visual. 6'2" — ~180 lbs — brown hair — blue eyes | Lonán is a full-time wheelchair user and a quadriplegic. His left hand lacks most dexterity and his fingers are contractured. He also experiences weakened elbow flexion and tends to command his left arm's movements from the shoulder. As a result, Lonán does virtually everything with his right arm, though its strength is impacted as well. (visual reference) He keeps his hair tidy and short, though the length is variable depending on the time since his last haircut. Along with his hair, Lonán will sometimes present fresh-shaven and sometimes with a five-o'clock shadow or fully stubbled jaw. Away from work, he's naturally gregarious with his expressions and it's not difficult to see how he's feeling in any given moment simply by looking at him. By far his most distinctive facial features are his dimples, his large eyebrows, and the crooked canine tooth that's most visible when he grins. (visual reference)
Fashion. He has a professional style of dress that varies by the demands of the day. When conducting formal business he'll wear a tailored suit — favoring either gray or navy — paired with a sweater vest. On more casual work days, he'll throw on a quarter zip or a cardigan. When he's away from the office he'll expand those choices to flannels, chinos, and chukkas. Since he has a tendency to run cold, he's almost always in layers.
Demeanor. On the job, Lonán tries to conduct himself like a consummate professional. He takes his work seriously and uses his background in both law and anthropology to gather and analyze information in as objective a manner as possible. He's deeply inquisitive and genuinely curious to get to know other people, their lives, and their perspectives. Away from work, that sense of curiosity persists, but Lonán can appear not entirely unlike a hopeless romantic posturing as a former frat boy to protect his heart. (He's not.) The energy he gives largely depends on the energy he gets, and he won't hesitate to answer in kind. On certain subjects, he tends to open up to people rather quickly and can manage to form some pretty deep connections at the drop of a hat. He'll ask questions that really crack a person's (symbolic) ribcage open and root around in the viscera. Lonán also doesn't worry himself over making others uncomfortable about the things he says and jokes he makes about himself. As much as mortally possible, he takes a, 'that's none of my business' approach to other people's opinions on him.
Aural. Like so. Notably, he has an infrequent tendency to misjudge his breath and run out of air before he's finished speaking. This leads to the occasional word being spoken in a rasp, or at half-volume, or him interrupting the natural flow of the sentence to take another breath. This happens more often when he speaks without thinking; so, when he's tired or experiencing strong emotions.
Olfactory. Vetiver, cedar, and orris root cologne. Black coffee and red wine.

Backtagging. Perfectly fine with me. I understand that we all have varying commitments and keep different schedules, so I'm never going to fault anyone for jumping in late or taking a while between tagging sessions. That said, if we have multiple unfinished threads going I might move toward consolidating or dropping the oldest.
Threadjacking. Because there's a possibility that he will share confidential or highly sensitive information, I'd prefer to avoid this as much as possible. It's cleaner just to assume that any conversation he's having is between himself and the person he intended to have it with.
Affection. Open to both casual physical touch and shipping. I play Lonán with an interest in both men and women. He's engaged in hookups and had a few long-term relationships. When it comes to friendly affection between professional acquaintances Lonán tends to keep his hands to himself, but if he develops a friendship with you he'll be more inclined to mundane touch. In these situations he's got a tendency to use touch as a matter of utility. He might, for example, grab on to another character's shoulder to boost himself upright or take hold of the tail of their jacket to help propel him forward while on a stroll.
Smut. Open to M/M, M/F, and M/NB shipping. Chemistry between the characters is the biggest point of persuasion by far. Despite a long roleplay history, I am fairly new to actively writing smutty scenes as I've mostly done FTB in the past. My comfort level ebbs and flows. I am always game to write at least some amount of foreplay, though.
Violence. His mouth has a tendency to write checks his fists can't cash. If you chirp at Lonán, he'll answer in kind. It's been a long time since anyone's punched him, so he's probably overdue. That said, he also encounters potentially hazardous situations frequently in his job. He's got some basic skills in mediation and he'll do his best to diffuse the danger, but if the situation calls for another character to lose control and bawl out, feel very welcome to do so.
Psychic. Since it is highly likely this will come up in varying degrees and circumstances, let's chat about it and figure it out. If I know another character has psychic abilities and is tapping into them I'll try to drop some initial guidance in the prose, but for anything more extensive let's work together to figure it out. While Lonán doesn't have any specific psychic powers, he does have some residual fuckery of his own from an emergency in-field blood transfusion from a metahuman source. He is also able to self-induce out of body experiences in times of great stress, though he hasn't learned how to control — much less strengthen — this ability just yet. Eagerly looking for a mentor character who may be able to help him better shape this latent ability toward full astral projection.

Formatting. Third-person prose is strongly preferred, but I'll match styles if you'd like me to. I also genuinely don't mind if we write in mismatch either. If there's anything about my formatting that makes it difficult or inaccessible for you, please just let me know how I need to revise!
Speed. I love boomeranging when I get the chance because nothing helps me better than momentum in a thread, but I rarely find that to be possible these days. I've got a full time office job with some pretty strict regulations, so my ability to "steal" tags during work hours is generally limited to rapidfire texting threads. Much of my good tagging time is on the weekends (including my WFH Fridays) and throughout the evening. Long story long, assuming I'm one of your slower tag partners is probably safe.
